Are Rich Happy or Poor?.... Observing the true side of the Human Race.....

Human, the most intelligent animal on planet Earth. I agree completely on this. Yes we are intelligent because we have divided the human race in terms of Poor and Rich wherein a poor gets poorer and the rich gets richer as the days passes by. Its not the human race who is ruling the world today, its the creation of the Human race which is doing so and that creation is nothing else than "MONEY".

But there is one thing always striking my not so loaded brain and that thing is are the Richer ones happy or the ones who are poor?. I guess everyone of you also might have felt this so many times.

Today, I started my day with a cricket match with few of my friends near my house and after that match I went for having some hot dosa's and while going I saw a handicapped beggar who was not able to walk and was limping on the roadside to reach his daily place of begging. I felt little uncomfortable watching him like that but I was surprised to see that he was the only guy in that lane whose face was showing a glimpse of satisfaction and happiness. I came back home and I was really in a state of shock that how could some one like that be happy when many of us who have a job, a family and money are not so satisfied.

As I was engrossed in thinking about it, I heard a Vegetable Vendor selling vegetables on a bicycle talking amazingly with one lady who was buying some vegetable. The lady was actually asking for a discount and to this the vendor replied with a great smile- "Madam, Abhi Sabji Japan se aarahi hain isliye mahangi hain, jab Australia se aayegi sasti hogi" (Madam, as of now the vegetables are coming from JAPAN so they are costly, when it will come from Australia it will be cheaper). I was really flattered by the way the vegetable guy was selling his product, though I was completely aware that he was bluffing about Japan and Australia. The utmost thing I liked in this guy was that he was motivating his customer to buy with a smile and happiness on his face which most of the so called big Marketers of big MNC's fail to do.

And again a nail was nailed in my brain which made me think "Are rich happy or Poor?"

Afternoon, again it was a sense of different kind of experience for me when I saw a Auto Rikshaw driver using a bluetooth device connected with a chinese mobile. Though he was not using a blackberry mobile like many of us do, he was happy and he had a sense of pride in his asset.

Those are the poor people of my Country. Infact I should change this sentence uttered by me to : "Those are the happiest people of my country".

Just observe for a while and you will find that the happiest people on earth are those who are happy with what ever they have.

India? Who? Before 20 years or Today?

India, one of the fastest growing Economy is known for its culture, IT industires, Genius, Democracy and many other things. Today; we have many Entrepreneurs from India heading onto the list of top 100 richest persons in the world. Indian Companies are being recognised as a trust worthy brands throughout the world.

Today every kid in a every TOM DICK AND HARRY named countires know India and more than just name they know about what actually India consists of. You will hardly find any country on the globe which will not have any Indian Genius mind working there. The National Anthem of India is continously being treated as the worlds best National Anthem. The actors from India are given a chance to perform in Oscar winning movies and the Music Directors like AR Rehman is going International. Indians are proving themselves everywhere. Let it be Sunita Williams - the astronaut or Shilpa Shetty - the Big Brother Show winner, Indians are every where.

This all is about India presently in 2011.

Just Imagine India before 20 years during 90's. Was India the same?. Who knew India as one of the fastest growing country?. I think not even the 25 percent of the worlds population knew about a country like India.

The world used to ignore India's economic liberalization during 90's in way of reaction stating INDIA,WHO? And that was when the people who trusted India's potential and invested here made their fortune. India was a Godlen Bird, it is and it will be. The people here trusts alot in God and many people might make fun of Indians having such an extra ordinary beleif in God. But the belief again has proved it self. The Padmanabha temple provided India with a treasure of worth 1 lakh crore which is a very huge amount in itself and thats the power of belief. (Though It still remains the question how usefully it would be used for benefit of the people). India didn't just developed in its economic activity and religious belief but also in sports and entrepreneurship. We won the world cup, many medals in the olympics and CWG. We have got many startups functioning at a large level in India. Thats India my friend.

Just think about a rikshaw wala 10 years ago and today. If we compare them we will find a lot many changes like for example the first change you will notice is today a rikshaw wala uses a mobile fone and communicate with its clients over the fone and gets booked. Some Rikshaw wala's in Chennai have also started their own website for catching the foreign toursits in India. Thats development which India has shown.

A pan wala from the streets of Mumbai in India starts his own website and with in no time he starts getting orders for exports of his pan to countries like South AFrica and other African countires. Thats Innovative India and thats what world needs today.

Today India is a dominant player in something termed as BRIC - Brazil, Russia, India, China which is an accronym coined by Goldman Sachs containing the fastest growing economies which can be a threat to the G6 countries like US, UK, France etc. And thats India Today....

Even the Indian univeristies and Institution are being recognised globally and the IIM's, ISB are the best examples. Many Indians are heading the top Intrapreneurial posts in many big MNC's and some are also becoming the directors and CEO's which was a rare case before 20 years.

The women here are developing day by day leaving much behind the men. The best of the Women entrepreneurs, Politicicans, Athelets, Astranauts are Indian Womens. Thats India for you all .....

I think no one ever in the World would ever dare to say again Who, India? and take us lite. Go India Go.......

Again its Mumbai.... How many more to go?.. A Mumbaikar point of view; who lost their beloved ones....

Again its Mumbai........

The Maximum City as it is referred to as has been facing so much and going through so much of pain that it is impossible for a person like me or you situated in some other city of some other state in India to feel that pain. Its not for the first time that this city which never give up has faced this kind of bomb explosions, attacks etc. It started with 13 bomb explosions in the year 1993, followed by a bomb explosion in the year 2003 which killed around more than 50 odd people. It was not the end of the pain the city of Mumbai went through, the things went on repeating and increasing. In the year 2006, the blasts in the Suburban railways in Mumbai shook the whole India . Little more creativity and innovation added by the terrorists resulted in the Mumbai terror attack in the year 2008. Once again the Capital city of Maharashtra which provides shelter for Bollywood, Big MNC's, Historical Places etc has been hurt by 3 Bomb explosions in 3 different areas. This to me is ridiculous.

I was going through few news channels and I found out the same thing which I have seen during the terror attacks in the year 2008. The News Anchor asks a person to share his views and the person says that THIS TIME the people of Mumbai are very angry. Common for the God sake, I request all those people who talk in the NEWS saying that Mumbaikars are angry to prove that they are angry and they are not going to bear any more nonsense in terms of their security. If I am not worng, I am sure that in a week span of time we will hear in the same News Channels that "the spirit of Mumbaikars has not gone down, they have faced the problem bravely and they are back in their ususal life". And this is the problem with almost every place in India and its citizen.

The same thing is seen in the way the Politicians behave. Saw couple of Politicians saying that this many are dead and this many are injured with a cream of addition saying that "we are investigating". What the hell man, in the worlds largest democracy, people are not able to feel a sense of security. Is this we called as our development?......

We all have to think about it. Just imagine from a Mumbaikars point of view who lost their beloved ones and you will get a different perception. It easy for us to just say that ONLY 20 are dead and few are injured. Imagine the pain those 20 families may be facing who have lost their beloved ones who are actually innocent. The word injured makes us feel that, "Ok few are dead and many are injured"; think from that persons mind who has been injured. Then we will feel the pain.

Its high time for us (The Indians). We have to be more intelligent and should forsee all such things and be reasy to avoid it. Finally I request you all to please pray for all those who lost their lives and also the injured.

A shift- Pacific Ocean to dot near Mount Manasarovar. (A race between a Rat and a Hare)

Its been so long that I have been hearing almost from every professor of mine about the race between India and China. Always in most of the topics discussed there is an example cited of Indian and Chinese economies and the fierce competition between them.

I have been always very much fascinated hearing to this examples of Chinese and Indian Economy; as some where it makes me feel proud to be a citizen of the fastest growing economy. Today had an amazing session in my college on the subject of "International Business"; and again there was a example of India and China being cited when it came to some discussion on GDP and Economic growth.

When I was in school and my intermediate studies, the only competition between India and China I ever heard of was in terms of population. But as I became more matured and as the level of my education increased I came to know that there is a great level of competition between the two in many other different aspects also.

Today after attending a seesion on "International Business", I quickly moved my body to the library of my college and searched for a book on this topic of "India vs China" and finally was able to find one book titled "SUPER POWER" written by Raghav Bahl (Founder of TV 18 now called as Network 18).

I went through the book till evening for around 3 hours and was finally able to understand why people always cite example from the race between India and China. Just try to analyse the structure of this two economies. Both of them are very different; China is an economy which is mostly handled by the government corporations and India on the other hand is very different where the GDP is mostly contributed by the private households and the private industries.

Is Indian economy better or the Chinese?. Perhaps the answer will not be quite as simple as who is investing more and growing today because it depends on a set of factors which are not easy to draw conclusions upon. But today I feel after reading few chapters from the book that, Its not about China versus India but China & India versus the rest of the world. There is a greater shift of economy from the countries like USA, UK, Japan to China and India.

But still the structure between the two economies differs like south and north pole. China on one hand is an economy which has been going rapidly and have a greater amount of human resoruces working as required by the government and Nation; India is one amoung those free democratic economy.

So we never know what will happen in future: will China re-write economic theory (which till now says an economy can develop if people are free and allowed to work privately) or India could blow its chances. But what many happen in future, one thing is for sure, slowly their is an economic shift from far west to this two countries.

A Poets Hat - Innovative Idea & A Marvari's Hat - Monetizing Idea...... Thats Entrepreneurship....

I am greately inspired by a saying quoted by Mr. Benjamin Franklin "One TODAY is more than two Tomorrow's". A short quote but if you analyse it, you may get an indepth meaning of it.

Now a days there is a fast moving virus of being an Entrepreneur in every third brain we meet (I am refering to a person by saying brain). But the problem with many of them is that half of them have a very innovative idea and other half have the talent of monetizing any idea given. And this is the biggest drawbacks many youngsters who are aiming at starting their own business are facing today. The people who have innovative ideas are unable to find a way to monetize it. Any new startup's first foundation brick would be an innovative idea and the second most important brick is the idea of monetizing it because the ultimate goal of a business is to earn more than the amount invested.

Let me make it more simple for you to understand; Let us assume the first step of "Creating Innovative Ideas" as "POET's HAT". A person should always think like a poet while devicing a plan for a business with innovative and unique touch. But this is not the end its just the starting. After that the same poet should also try and wear "A Marvari's Hat". The Marvari's Hat doesn't mean that you need to be a marvari community based person. It actually means that the idea should be converted into a money making machine (Maravari is a community known for its business money making abilities in India).

But unfortunately the youngsters and new start up today have a great idea (Poets hat) but they fail to make it a proper money making machine (Marvari's Hat). So it becomes necessary to convert the Idea in to money yeilding ideas. That is Entrepreneurship.........
